Cyber Bullying Talk for Parents

We are holding our annual Cyber Bullying Talk for parents this Friday in the computer room of Scoil Chiaráin CBS at 11am. We hope to see many of you there, as we are certain that tablets, phones and other gaming devices will be featured on many lists to Santa.

Paula O' Connor, the speaker, has the most up to date information available on how to be safe online. She regularly works with the Gardai on such cases involving cyber safety. If you have attended in the past, many changes have come about in the cyber world.

Technology and the internet are wonderful resources for our children, but they can be kept safe if we, as adults, stay informed. With information we can keep them safe, and allow them to use the internet in the best and safest way possible.

Come along on Friday and bring a friend too! Information is power.

First ever ACTIVE WEEK off to a great start!

We had a great start to our first ever ACTIVE WEEK today with a super Community Walk! There will be many stiff legs tomorrow morning, after our great walk to St. Anne's and back again! We were joined by energetic mammies, daddies, nannies, and dogs! Not to mention family from places further afield, such as Australia! It was great to see so many make it such a family occasion!

Now onto our next activity ...A Gaelic Blitz with Ronnie tomorrow!

Wednesday sees us skipping again and showing Mark McCabe how our skipping has improved!

Thursday our sports knowledge will be put to the test with an in class sports quiz, followed by some dancing at a school disco! Don't forget third class will be splish splashing this week too!

Friday sees 4th have a rugby session with Stephen, and we will all be bouncing the day away on some super fun Bouncing Castles! It would be great if each boy could bring in just 50c to donate to St. V de P on Friday! It will begin our fundraising campaign for this year!
