More happenings in Scoil Chiaráin!

🙂 Friday 14th! Photo shoot day in Scoil Chiaráin! Let's strike a pose and get ready for our Christmas Card and Calendar photos! Get ready to smile! A note will go home today about it and the info will be on the website as well!

🤪Don't forget PARENT/TEACHER MEETINGS next Wednesday 19th. Times for meetings will be going home tomorrow! Check the bags!

😙Members of an Garda Síochána will be visiting all classes next Wednesday 19th, to introduce themselves, explain their important role in our community and answer any questions the boys may have!

😀Want to get in that Christmas spirit!?? Well the lights of the Killester Christmas Tree will be switched on, Thursday 20th November. The boys of Scoil Chiaráin will be singing carols to mark the occasion in Killester from 5.30 to 7.00! Come along for some mulled wine and seasonal cheer!

🤭An Art Competition is being run at the moment by the Active Committee - designing a new school jersey, incorporating all the great qualities of our school! Some super prizes to be won - Dublin jerseys go leor!

🤒😋 Let's move it for our first ever Active Week, being held from the 24th to 28th of this month! Keep an eye out for all that will be going on, including a community walk for everyone! A gaelic blitz, some more skipping workshops, quizes and a bouncing castle or two along the way!

🙂Our next assembly is on Friday November 28th, at an earlier than usual time - which will be confirmed closer to the date.

😲This assembly will be followed by a Cyber Bullying talk for parents or any other interested adults. This will be hosted by Paula O Connor, who carries out the annual cyber bullying workshop with 5th and 6th. Parents have found her talks very informative in the past. It is a great time to ask questions as Santa lists are being written. We have always had a great attendance so please spread the word and come along on the day.
