Stepping into Spring!
Lots happening in the final term!
Are you surprised?!
The members of Ms McLoughlin's drama and musical group are going to visit Smock Alley Theatre and the Gaiety School of Acting tomorrow. They will enjoy a tour of both theatres, learn about the day in the life of an actor, and some famous people who have tread the boards there, and participate in a drama workshop! Some budding actors in the making! A full uniform and tie to be worn, please!
Hurling league will begin
this Wednesday in Whitehall when the senior team will take on Holy Child Primary School. Throw in at 2pm! We would love to see lots of support on Wednesday! Hurls and helmets in every day, please! The Junior league will begin next week. Unfortunately, Scoil
Fhursa is not able to play this week. Junior training tomorrow on the all-weather.
Second class have two
weeks of swimming remaining this term, and swimming will recommence this Thursday.
4th class will be visiting the newly opened museum in the GPO this Thursday. It gives a great insight into the events of the 1916 Rising. A note has gone home today about it. 5th class will be visiting the same museum on Friday
this week, and a note has also gone home. Full uniform with a tie to be worn, please.
Following on from the introduction to golf that all classes enjoyed before Easter, 5th, 6th classes and Room 11 will enjoy a 5-week course with Golf Ireland. We hope to offer this to 5th and 6th class every year. It will begin this Thursday 7th April.
There will be no after school clubs this week. Homework club and hurling will resume next week. Hurling will be open to 2nd and 3rd class from next Monday. New clubs this term will also include kickboxing and a music club.
An order was placed for summer shorts before Easter and they will be with us shortly. A text will let you know when we have them in stock.
