Another year! Bigger and better! And MORE FUN!!

Welcome back for another great year in Scoil Chiaráin!!

After finishing off last year in style, with a superb win in Croke Park, a fantastic FUN DAY and BBQ, and memorable school tours, we are alreay having lots of fun in this new year!

Our classes are doing terrific work already, and school only back in action a few short weeks. This week alone, great fun was had as we celebrated Roald Dahl's birthday!!! A 100 years old! BFG Dream Jars were filled by classes! Disgusting menus that only The Twits would eat were created! A delicious tea party was had by 4th class and a chocolate party was enjoyed by 2nd class!

Mentioning 2nd class- we would like to extend a big, warm welcome to the new 2nd class, who have started their year with great energy and enthusiasm! Céad Míle Fáilte to all the new families who have joined our community! We are delighted to have you with us, and hope you will all be very happy.

While we welcome new faces, we have to say goodbye to some familiar ones as well. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Brogan for ther dedication and hard work, while she was with us, and wish her every luck in her new position in the Royal County!

Our new year has gotten off to a busy and productive start! Our classrooms look superb as they are all decked out in the sky blue!!! The senior footballers got our league campaign off to a winning start with a great win over Mother of Divine Grace! Thanks to all those who came out to support us!

5th and 6th class enjoyed an interesting and informative talk today about Cyber Safety with Paula O Connor. As always, we all learnt lots of things!

Today was National Fitness Day! The brave boys of Scoil Chiaráin took on the grown ups in a series of events! Sprinting, basketball shots, skipping, Snatch the Bacon!!!

Finally, great craic was had getting ready to cheer on the Dubs this Sunday!
